4 Things You Need to Do to Have a Magical Disney Vacation

Do you ever wonder why some people love Disney World so much? If you do then you either haven’t been to Disney World, or you simply didn’t do it right. Taking a trip to Disney World is not like taking a trip anywhere else. Therefore, you need to do your vacation differently. Here are 5 things that I think are key to having a magical Disney World vacation.

1. Stop caring about what other people think

As people, we are way too worried about what other people think of us. Disney World is a place that helps you stop doing this. People go to Disney to enjoy time with their loved ones or to enjoy the environment and rides on their own. They don’t care what you are doing. And, even if someone does… who cares? Dance to the music, skip down Main Street, hug Mickey, cry when you see Cinderella Castle and enjoy every last little bit of your vacation. It doesn’t matter if other people think you are being silly because you are having so much fun that you won’t care. Allow yourself to quit carrying about other people’s opinions of you and then carry that back to your everyday life as well.

2. Plan well

There are some things that you need to plan in order to have a smooth trip. This includes things like where you are going to stay, what days you are going to which parks, where you are going to eat and what FastPasses you are going to do. When it comes to Disney you need to plan the big parts of your trip. Really think through what you need to for your trip in order to enjoy it. If you have parking lots than stay at a Disney resort so you can use their internal bus system. If you hate crowds then don’t plan your trip for spring break or any holiday.

3. Budget accordingly

Your trip is going to be stressful if you haven’t budgeted accordingly and you are stressed about money. That’s one of the reasons why I love the dining plans. Even though I know that I could save money by paying out of pocket I like having my food paid for before I leave my house. Then I can just relax and enjoy.

4. Go with the flow

Whatever you do, don’t try to do everything there is at Disney World on your trip because it can’t be done. If you try to jam everything in you are going to miss the magic of Disney and stress yourself out. Be willing to deviate from your plan if something that you didn’t know about comes up. Live in the moment.

Disney World allows you to escape your life. Before you leave make sure your bills are paid, your work is handled, and you have budgeted and planned for your trip. When you arrive at Disney property let everything else fade away and let the magic in every part of your trip, then you will know why those crazy Disney fans love Disney World so much.
