As we all know, we are living in an unpredictable time. The whole world is quarantined, and no one knows just how long it will last. So, I decided to make a list of 4 fun Disney related things to do while we are in quarantine so that all of us Disney lovers can bring a little bit of our happy place to our homes.
1: Watch Disney YouTube Videos!
Unfortunately, given the situation the world is in, no one can visit any of the Disney parks at the moment. Luckily, there are more Disney Parks vlogs on YouTube than you could ever dream of. My personal favorite Disney vloggers are The Tim Tracker, Hayes Family Vlog, and Disney Cupcake. You can find Disney Parks vlogs on all of those channels that will (virtually) take you back to Disney in quarantine.
2: Make Disney Food!
Let’s be honest… while we might be homesick for Disney Parks, we are also pretty homesick for Disney food! Not only can we not ride the rides we love and meet the characters we love, but we can’t eat the delicious Disney food we love either! However, most of us have a lot of time on our hands at the moment, so why not put it to use by homemaking our favorite Disney recipes? We have multiple Disney recipes on our website, one of them being the post my mom wrote about the AMAZING Puffed French Toast from Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom! But if you can’t find a recipe for something you would like to make, there are plenty of recipes online you can follow to make your own DIY Disney snack!
3: Watch Disney+!
Right now is a great time to binge-watch a ton of shows on Disney+ since we’re all stuck at home. Disney+ is filled with great movies and tv shows to watch, some of the most popular ones being Disney+ originals like The Mandalorian and High School Musical The Musical The Series. There are also some new (ish) movies on Disney+ that you may not have seen, like Frozen 2 and Onward!
4: Have Disney Nights!
My family has been doing “Disney Nights” for many years. It’s basically just what it sounds like. We pick a Disney movie to watch, and we theme our night based off that movie. We decorate the house that movie’s theme, we make food that either is in the movie, or food that fits the theme, and we play games based on that movie! Recently, my family had a Star Wars Disney Night as a surprise for my dad, and we watched the movie A New Hope. It was a lot of fun, and brought some Disney to our home in this tough time.
Overall, quarantine has not been fun, and I think we’re all missing Disney a lot. I hope this gives you some ideas on how to bring Disney to your house, and have a magical day!
